Rose Collar - English

The Rose Collar is a feminine collar for babies and small children with a simple lace pattern. The collar is easy to knit and is worked top down. Along the way a simple eyelet pattern is worked - which also functions as increases. The collar can be made in three different weights of yarn and two different sizes.

Sizes: 6-12 months (1 year and up)

Gauge: 26 sts/22 sts/16 sts on 10 cm/4 inches - depending on choice of yarn

Skill level: Easy

Techniques: Cast on, knit, purl, yarn over, k2tog, cast off

Materials

• 30-40 grams of yarn for size 3/4/5 mm (U.S. size 3/6/8) needles (the collars in the pictures are made in yarn A = Cascade Ultra Pima Fine Cotton in the color Peach Pearl (no. 3810) (50 gr = 125 m/136 yards), yarn B = Cascade Ultra Pima Cotton in the color China Pink (no. 3711) (50 gr = 100 m) and yarn C = Garnstudio DROPS Paris in the color Mørk Gammelrosa (no. 60) (50 gr = 75 m/82 yards)
